Starting April 15th, 2024, the (ISC)2 updated their exams to follow the new CISSP exam outline. In our blog post here, we covered all the differences between the previous 2021 exam outline and the new 2024 exam outline. Overall, there were not many changes and only new definitions and terminology introduced.
Do I Need New Material to Study for the Exam?
No! As we've stated we strongly believe that you do not need to buy all new books and study materials for this exam update. Our new study guide covers all new definitions and terms introduced in the new CISSP exam outline to fill in any gaps that old study resources may not yet cover. Remember that the exam outline is based on concepts and these concepts tend not to change much over time. Concepts stay the same but the tools and techniques will change greatly. So while the topic is new, you should be able to apply familiar concepts of security in order to relate the term to information security.
